Data on opioid deaths and prescribing shows how the library provides resources to people in some of the counties hardest hit by the opioid epidemic. Viewers of this map can select one of two measures for shading of the underlying counties:
1) Rate of Opioid prescriptions per 100 people in 2019 or
2) rate of deaths from all opioid overdoses per 100,000 people in 2019.
